Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is estimated to affect almost 4% of the world’s population. However, most people are unable to access treatment. The TRUST lab develops PTSD treatments that address barriers to care and are contextually and culturally appropriate for diverse communities.

Prof. Du Elected to Society of Multivariate Experimental Psychology

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Han Du for being elected to the Society of Multivariate Experimental Psychology (SMEP). SMEP is a small elective society, and membership is limited to 65 regular active members. It was founded in 1960 as an organization of researchers interested in multivariate quantitative methods and their application to substantive problems in psychology and related fields.
Maira Karan receives the Pritzker Graduate Scholar Award

Congratulations to Maira Karan (Developmental Area) for being selected by the Pritzker Committee for Excellence to receive the third annual Pritzker Graduate Scholar Award. Maira’s research focuses on characterizing the neurodevelopment of positive social behaviors, such as prosociality and empathy, during the period of adolescence. The Pritzker Graduate Scholar Award is intended to support graduate students in the Department of Psychology who demonstrate excellence in the conduct of psychological science with the potential for high public impact. The award is a result of the extraordinary generosity of the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation to the Department of Psychology.
