Research and Teaching Interests:
Sensory processing in most modalities relies on temporal information. My research goal is to understand how neurons develop selective responses to temporal features such as duration, interval and order. Towards this goal my lab uses three parallel experimental approaches: in vitro electrophysiology, computational models of neural networks, and behavioral experiments.
